Fried Rice

Fried Rice



Ingredients:-

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 2 cups boiled water
  3. 1/2 cup carrot(chopped into fine pieces)
  4. 1/2 cup capsicum(chopped)
  5. 1 cup finely sliced cabbage
  6. 1/4 cup chopped french bean
  7. 1/2 cup chopped spring onion
  8. 1 tbsp Soya sauce
  9. 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  10. 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  11. 1 tbsp coriander
  12. 5 tbsp oil
  13. asafoetida
  14. salt

Procedure:-
  1. First heat 1 tbsp oil,add rice and fry for 1 min.
  2. Add water and 1/2 tsp salt and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.And keep it aside.
  4. In another skillet heat 4 tbsp oil and add asafoetida,grated ginger,carrots.Cover and fry for 5 min.on medium heat.
  5. Now add cabbage and fry for 5 more min.uncovered.
  6. After that add french bean,spring onion,capsicum and fry for another 3 minutes.
  7. Now add soya sauce and saute it.
  8. Add rice and fry for 2 more minutes on high heat.
  9. Now add remaining salt and mix well.
  10. Garnish with ground coriander.
