Fried Rice
Fried Rice
Ingredients:-
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups boiled water
- 1/2 cup carrot(chopped into fine pieces)
- 1/2 cup capsicum(chopped)
- 1 cup finely sliced cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped french bean
- 1/2 cup chopped spring onion
- 1 tbsp Soya sauce
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 5 tbsp oil
- asafoetida
- salt
Procedure:-
- First heat 1 tbsp oil,add rice and fry for 1 min.
- Add water and 1/2 tsp salt and bring to a boil.
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.And keep it aside.
- In another skillet heat 4 tbsp oil and add asafoetida,grated ginger,carrots.Cover and fry for 5 min.on medium heat.
- Now add cabbage and fry for 5 more min.uncovered.
- After that add french bean,spring onion,capsicum and fry for another 3 minutes.
- Now add soya sauce and saute it.
- Add rice and fry for 2 more minutes on high heat.
- Now add remaining salt and mix well.
- Garnish with ground coriander.
